Since 1998, we’ve worked with attorneys to help them be more effective in their practices with document systems. Since that time we have found some patterns with the firms that are doing really well and those that struggle.
When talk to different firms, we have found that one of the areas that they really want to work on is reducing the amount of errors that get into their documents.
One firm we worked with told us that one of the biggest reasons they wanted a document system is because of some embarrassing mistakes. For example, when the client looked at the document they found a religious provision that didn’t pertain to them. And it was because the firm had reused an existing document from another client. Another firm was frustrated that one of their key client’s names was continually misspelled.
In each of these cases it wasn’t because the person creating the document was incompetent. It was exactly the opposite. It happened because they didn’t have the right system in the first place that ensured mistakes like those were not going to happen.
Fortunately for these firms we were able to help them get a document system in place that made it so that these problems wouldn’t happen.
I want to share with you some processes that you can carry out in your office. They will start you on the path of creating a document system. On February 25 at 3:00 EST we are going to hold a webinar on the first steps of creating a document system.
You are going to learn that there are 3 initial steps that you need to take to start figuring out where and when your errors are occurring. These steps are critical to know where your focus should be and how to start creating a document system.
It is critical that you start with the documents that matter most and are most often used in your firm. In other words, the 80/20 rule applies to where to start.
The ABA did a study back in 2006 that went through where most errors occur in a law firm.
Of the areas that are listed in the picture, 9 out of 10 have the potential to being correct with the right system in place. Most of these errors occur because there is no defined process in place in a firm. Attorneys and staff members are left to create their own process each time.
During the webinar you will not only learn about the steps that are needed to solve your problems, but you will also learn how to look at the problems as an opportunity.
The Webinar is $27. I guarantee that you are going to get more than $27 worth of information out it. You will see a bump in your business because of the two action steps I’m going to give you during the webinar. And if you don’t realize the additional value after taking my two steps, I will refund your money.
I look forward to talking to you on February 25 7 at 3:00 EST, 1:00 MST, 12:00 PST.
Begley Law Group Our firm has worked with REAL Automation Solutions since 1998. They help us create a fabulous document system. I would give them my highest recommendation. Since we started using REAL Automation Solutions we have been able to reduce the errors in our documents and amount of time it takes our attorneys and staff to prepare documents. One staff member that handles most of our clients’ files processes approximately 1500 cases a year. We would not be able to serve our clients with that speed and efficiency if we didn’t have REAL Automation Solutions helping our firm.
